I can see that this is your first post so let me take time to welcome you in the Community space, NeverLost. I’m not sure if any of this is even clear, but any advice is appreciated.
We currently do that by emailing her the files and she makes adjustments and sends them back and we reload. One other piece of info- we do need an outside CPA to access the files once a month if that matters.
I’m happy to purchase anything- network, server, second QB application to get it right once and for all. Only one person accessing at the same time is fine. We would NOT need to work in them simultaneously.
I would like to set the same exact QB up on my laptop and be able to access and occasionally input info and have the desktop and laptop update to always mirror each other without having to use a thumb drive or upload/download files manually to keep the two computers in sync. It is installed on a desktop computer in office (not sure if we have a network or if that matters?) and managed by Operations Director. We have single-user QB desktop 2018 Premier purchased through tech soup. Caveat: I am incredibly confused and overwhelmed, and very technologically challenged.
